In Sri Lanka, a government investigator says the Easter's Sunday bombings that killed almost 300 people carried out by 7 suicide bombers. They're not saying who they believe is behind the attacks. The bombings targeted churches and luxury hotels. This resident says he and his family only returned to their homeland after a 26 year civil war.
"We moved back to this country after the war actually myself, I was living as in 2011 because it was a peaceful country and now we're just totally surprised and dumfound but we will come out of this. I'm confident. I hope so.
Sri Lankan police are examining reports that intelligence agency had warnings of possible attacks.
President Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani says there was nothing wrong with the President's 2016 campaign taking information from the Russians.
"President of the United States was an innocent man being charged with something he didn't do. You have to grant that now when they say no proof of underlying crime. You gotta grant that as a legal and factual matter.
Lead Russia investigator Robert Muller found no evidence of conspiracy between Russia and the Trump campaign but made no decision on obstruction of justice. Democratic congressman Jerry Naddler who chairs the Judiciary Committee which would begin impeachment proceedings says some of the allegations detailed in the report about the President's attempts to obstructing investigation leave open whether he broke the law.
"I do think that this. If proven, If proven which hasn't been proven yet, some of this..If proven, some of this would be impeachable, yes."

The U.S. is truning up the heat on countries that import oil from Iran. Secretary of the State Mike Pompeio is set to tell Japan, South Korea, Turkey, China and India that they no longer be exempt from U.S. sanctions if they continue importing oil from Iran during an announcement this morning at the State Department. Current sanctions waivers to the 5 nations expire a week from Thursday and it remains unclear if any of them would be given more time wind down their purchases or they'll be subject to U.S. sanctions beginnig May 3rd if they don't immediately hold imports of Iranian oil. The move is intended to increase pressure on Iran by strangling the revenue it receives from oil exports. Matt Small, Washington.
