Nightfall brings more twisters to the Mid-West. A powerful tornado has touched down in the Kansas city, Kansas area where a number of homes have been destroyed. Indianapolis and Ohio are trying to clean up after a last night's tornado sworm. One man was killed in Celina, Ohio by a car being hurled into his home. Montgomery county sheriff Rob Streck told NBC's Today Show.

"There's extensive property damage. Residences, businesses. Trees uprooted, power outages and gases. It is pretty extensive."

In Oklahoma, the Arkanso river has overtopped 2 levees forcing hundreds of evacuations there.

 

The U.S. Supreme Court has voted to uphold one piece of Indiana law to restrict abortions. Our Mike Hempen reports.

The law requires abortion providers to dispose of aborted fetuses in the same way as human remains. The High Court voted 7 to 2 to allow Indiana to enforce the fetal remains measure that have been blocked by a federal appeals court.

And the Court did not take up the seats appeal of a lower court ruling that blocked Indiana from banning abortions decided because of a race, a gender or a disability.

 

Attorney Michael Avenatti was back in New York federal court room today, pleading not guilty to charges that he cheated Stormy Daniels and not guilty to trying to blackmail Nike. He says he's in the fight of his life against ultimate goliath of the Trump administration.

The TSA is loosening the rules on cannabis based products that can be brought onto planes. Our Mike Gracio reports.

The Transportation Security Administration has made a change to its cannabis policy allowing passengers to travel with some forms of CBD oil and hemp and hemp derivates. In updating what can I bring guidance, the TSA says it was recently made aware that the FDA legalized the drug called Epidiolex last June. Epidiolex is used to treat epilepsy in children.

 

Police in western germany say it looks like divine intervention saved a driver from a speeding ticket. A pigeon photobombed the traffic enforcement camera just the right moment.
