It's a boy. Word from Britain, the Price Harry's wife Meghan has just given birth to a baby boy and he's thrilled.

"It was amazing. Absolutely amazing and as I said I'm so incredibly proud of my wife and as every father and parent, we never say, you knwo, your baby is absolutely amazing but this little thing is absolutely die for. So I'm just over the moon."

Price Harry moments ago after he and Meghan Markle became the parents of a new baby boy.

 

Wallstreet just opened a few moments ago and stocks are plummeting after President Trump tweeted a threat to raise taxes on Chinese imports. The DOW fell 400 pts at the open.

Jaker Parker is with U.S.-China business council in Beijing. He says this is rattling a lot of American businesses that do business with China.

"The overshelming majority of companies indecated that they were very surprised and extremely concerned that new tariffs might come into play against the products they buy from the United States and potentially their exports to the U.S."

 

The U.S. is sending a message to Iran. It says as defese officials says Teheran may have been planning to attack American forces in the region. It's a big show of fire power. The U.S. dispatching a carrier strike group and a bomber task force to ana are that includes Middle-East. Move Secretary of State Mike Pompeo says have been in the works for a while.

"It is absolutely the case that we've seen escalatory action for the Iranians."

But he would not tell reporter flying with him to Finland what those have been. The defense officials says the Pentagon believes American forces at sea and on land were thought to be potential targets. Just hours now until the deadline for President Trump's former lawyer to report to prison. Michael Cohen is scheduled to begin serving a 3 year prison sentence today for crimes that include campaign finance violations related to hush money payments made on Trump's behalf. Cohen is to report to the Federal correctional institution, Otisville. That's a minimum security prison about 70 miles north-west of New York. One there Cohen will undergo medical and mental health screenings and be assigned a job such as mowing the ground or claning up the visiting room. I'm Mike Hempen.

 

Our House Panel has just scheduled Wednesday vote to hold Attorney General William Barr in contempt for not providing the full Muller report. Judiciary Committee chairman Jerry Naddler had given Barr until 9 o'clock this mornign Eastern time to comply with his demand. Now Naddler is proposing hold Barr in contempt.  I'm Rita Foley.
