House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says Democrats are in no rush to push for the impeachment of President Trump.
"We're going to do the right thing. That's just the way it is. It is going to be based on fact and law and patriotism not partisanship or anything else."
At the White House, President Trump was surprised to hear a report that his son Donald Jr. will be subponeaed to return before the Senate intelligence committee.
"The Muller report came out. That's the Bible. The Muller report came out and they said he did nothing wrong."
The President says the Muller investigation is over and time to move on.
"At the end of the testimony, no collusion and essentially no obstruction. Of course a lot of people say how can you obstruct when there was no crime, when there was no collusion how can you possibly"
President Trump says he will nominate Patrick Shanahan to be his second Secretary of Defense. Shanahan has been acting Secretary since the beginning of the year.
Near San Diego, 109 hate crime charges have been filed against John T. Earnest, the man accused of a deadly attack on a local synagogue.
"That's one count for every person in the synagogue on April 27th."
One person was killed. The U.S. attorney Robert Brewer says after the shooting, Earnest called 911.
"Earnest stated to the dispatcher quote "I just shot up a synagogue. I'm just trying to defend my nation against Jewish people. They're destroying our people."
Each of these counts are eligible for the death penalty.
Anna Sorokin, the German con artist to pass herself off as a wealthy heiress to swindle banks, hotels and even close friends in New York was sentenced to 4 to 12 years in prison. The 28 years old Sorokin went by the name Anna Delvey.
Wall Street, stocks finished lower amid night deadline is approaching for the U.S. and China to reach a trade deal. The Dow lost 138 pts. This is AP Radio News.
President Trump is calling for an end to surprise medical bills. It
"has left some patients with thousands of dollars of unexpected and unjustified charges for services they did not know anything about and sometimes services they did not have any information on. They were untold by the doctor. They were untold by the hospitals in the areas they were going to."
These surprise bills come when insured patients go to a member of a medical team that treats them and is not in their insurer's network.
