Were she fired? We were told Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen went to the White House yesterday, not knowing if she was gonna be fired. We were told she was not. She resigned.
In public Kirstjen Nielsen pushed the President's immigration policy and backed family separations at the border.
"It it important to know that these minors are very well taken care of. Don't believe the press."

Last week abruptly withdrew a key immigration nomination and yesterday Nielsen went to the White House to meet with the President with sources saying she didn't know if she resign or be fired. Is congress ever gonna get a look at President Trump's taxes? Acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney.
"Oh no. Never. Nor should they. Keep in mind that that's an issue that was already litigated during the election. Voters knew the President could have given his tax returns. They knew that he didn't and they elected him anyway which of course is what drives the Democrats crazy."
Mick Mulvaney was on Fox News Sunday. The chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, Democrat Richard Neil has asked the IRS for the President's tax returns.
